This web site focuses on exploration of Nature and visual (mainly photography) and audio media. Earth is a wonderful planet, hosting highly diverse life forms and showing magnificent landscapes.

Photographing these landscapes is an end in itself. A pretty picture is nice to look at and they are always cool to make. However, pictures of our natural world, whether of our planet or beyond, can and should contribute to our knowledge. We cannot see what we do not know. And there is always something more to learn.

Although a camera is a wonderful tool, sometimes a specific tool can be made to support the photographer’s vision or the execution of pictures.
